The Place

Ontario consist of 250,000 lakes which is about one-third of the wrold's freshwater makes a bast place for canoeing, kayaking, white-water rafting and fishing. Eagle lake is one of the most visited for its fishes like lake trout and whitefish and also for other major fishwater species like musky, canadian walleye, pike and bass.
This beautiful place is not only known for its lovely waters and mountains but also for the famous maple syrup production from the country's national symbol, the maple tree. The fertile farmland in the South produces wheat crops and vegetables. Even there is no distinct dishes there are sure plenty of food for its people. Also known for the cheddar cheese and affordable tasty seafoods.

The Canadian Culture
Canada's indigenous Franch and British origin gives the nation its complex character and has now greatly evolve because of the massive migration from UC, Europe, Asia and Latin America. The wild northern frontier and the continually tranforming culture made the difference from its neighboring region.

Festives with its foreign origin are celebrated in Ontario such as Caribana (West Indian), Oktoberfest (German), Fergus Scottish festival, Toronto International Film festival which features dances, ethnic music, food, colorful parades, films, wagon race, rodeo and even war-canoe rides.

The national language of Canada is English for the most part and French in some other areas. As the second largest country in the world and a neighbor of United States, its regions had a massive participation on the growth of manufacturing, mining and services. The country has been exporting vehicles, machineries and telecommunication equipments.

Ontario has become a high-technology industrial society and Ontario's standard has been elevated by the different programs by its government. Starting from taxation, health services, employment protection programs, old-age benefits and even up to retirement pension plan.
